Immigrants, many of them undocumented, do essential work that sustains us all. And yet, the national $2 trillion relief package for COVID-19 left out undocumented immigrants.
It is estimated that 9,000 undocumented residents live and work in San Luis Obispo County. They are our neighbors, co-workers, friends and fellow students.
A coalition of local organizations, community leaders and concerned individuals have come together as SLO County UndocuSupport in a collaborative effort to support immigrant community members who lack the safety net that many of us share during this pandemic. We invite you to join us by donating as generously as you can to The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County’s Disaster Support Fund.
